Supervisor Update Toolkit Bundle

Everything supervisors need to implement the 2026 DOPL rule changes.

$247 founding rate through October 31, 2026

For Whom

For supervisors who already hold DOPL-approved status and have completed a 20-hour supervisor training under the previous Utah rule.

You don't need another 8-hour course. You need the updates — the AI piece, the new contract language, the documentation audit prep.

The 2026 DOPL rule amended R156-60e effective May 26, 2026. This bundle closes the gaps that amendment opened without asking you to retake foundational training.

Why This Bundle Matters

You know how to supervise. You earned your DOPL-approved status. Your foundation is solid. But the ground moved under supervision on three fronts at once — the Utah rule amended, two of the four professional codes rewrote themselves, and DOPL formalized what compliance documentation actually looks like.

Supervisors who try to retrofit the old system into the new rule run into gaps fast. The AI plan looks obvious until you sit down to write one that holds up at audit. The supervision contract worked fine until you compare it to what DOPL is now checking.

This bundle is the honest update. Not theory. Not another full training. Just the pieces that changed, in formats you can implement immediately.

What's Inside — Five Toolkits

Each toolkit is built to be used independently or as part of a complete system. Use them as they apply to your situation.

1. AI Use Plan Workbook

Your step-by-step guide to building the R156-60e AI Use Plan supervisors now require. You'll cover four domains: supervision, administration, note and report writing, best practices.

What makes it work: The rule requires "detailed" plans. This workbook walks you through the specificity DOPL expects — exactly what tools are permitted, what happens when a new one appears, how you catch hallucinations.

2. Supervision Contract Toolkit

Fillable template aligned to R156-60e-307.1, plus sample completed contracts for three practice types. Built so you can update your existing contract language section by section.

What makes it work: You don't have to guess whether your language is "detailed enough." You have a template built to the rule's actual requirements and examples that show how it lands in different practice settings.

3. Hours Tracking & Documentation Toolkit

Updated hours log, quarterly review protocol, documentation retention schedule, and the templates you need to have audit-ready.

What makes it work: Documentation audits find problems after the fact. This toolkit helps you build the system so the problems don't exist to find.

4. Clinical Supervision Approaches Toolkit

The supervisory models the amended rule names in its content area requirements, with sample questions and decision guidance on model selection by case type.

What makes it work: Supervision feels like art until you document it. Then it becomes clear whether you're using an intentional model or just doing what feels right.

5. Ethics Comparison & Update Toolkit

Working guide to dual-code supervision — hold your code of ethics and your supervisee's at the same time when they diverge. Includes the Dual-Code Decision & Documentation Worksheet (fillable, per-supervisee).

What makes it work: The Worksheet forces clarity that a vague sense of "I think I'm fine here" doesn't. When two codes diverge, you write down which one you're following and why. That record is what makes your decision defensible.

What This Actually Costs You

Without the Toolkit

Building an AI plan from scratch: 6–8 hours of thinking, drafting, revising, checking the rule repeatedly.

Cost of getting it wrong: An audit corrective action, documentation work, DOPL follow-up, and stress.

With the Bundle

Building the same plan: 2–3 hours. The thinking work is already done. You just apply it to your situation.

Cost of getting it right: Peace of mind. Compliant documentation. A system that holds up.

What Changed — And Why It Matters

The AI Question Became a Rule Question

R156-60e-307.1(2)(c)(iii) now requires every supervision contract to include a detailed plan covering how AI will be managed in four domains. That's a requirement, not a suggestion.

The problem: "detailed plan" doesn't come with a template. Most supervisors have never drafted one.

The Supervision Contract Became a Compliance Document

The amended rule formalized exactly what a supervision contract must contain. It's no longer the welcome paperwork — it's now the compliance document DOPL reviews at audit.

If your contract is 2-3 years old, it probably doesn't have all of this.

Two Professional Codes Rewrote Themselves

NAADAC published an entirely new code effective June 1, 2025. AAMFT's code changed January 1, 2026. The provisions changed, the numbering changed, and some things that were silent are now explicit.

If your working knowledge is from 2023 or earlier, you're holding an outdated document.

Documentation Became a Primary Audit Focus

DOPL's audit process now emphasizes documentation — what you wrote, how you tracked supervision, what your notes show.

The rule changed what supervisors are responsible for documenting.

Compliance and Ethics — The Foundation

This bundle exists because compliance and ethics are the foundation. It's about supervising with clarity, documenting your reasoning, and holding yourself to a standard that protects your supervisee, yourself, and the profession.

The amended rule isn't a burden — it's a clarification. It says: be intentional about how you supervise. Document that intentionality. Know the codes that govern your supervisee. When you're not sure, write down why you chose what you chose.

These toolkits help you do that. They make the hidden visible. They turn "I think I'm fine here" into "here's why I chose this standard and documented it."

The Practical Piece: January 1, 2027

Every designated supervisor must meet R156-60e requirements by January 1, 2027. That's the deadline.

Supervisors Who Started Now

They feel calm on that date. They've updated their AI plan. Their contract is clean. Their documentation system is audit-ready. They're done.

Supervisors Who Waited

They're scrambling on January 1. They've got a list of things to fix, contracts to revise, a documentation system that needs rebuilding, and the stress of knowing they're not quite compliant yet.

This bundle is the difference between those two positions.
