Find out if you need supervisor training before January 1

For most Utah clinicians in these three groups, the answer is yes:

1. You're currently supervising provisionally-licensed clinicians. If that's you, the credential is required.
2. You're planning to add provisionally-licensed providers to your team in the next 6 to 12 months.
3. You've been fully licensed for less than 24 months. This is the one with a real clock on it. Starting January 1, you'll have to wait until you hit the 24-month mark before you can take the course for credit. Right now everyone's grandfathered in, so you can get it done early and have that piece behind you.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Identify which Utah behavioral health licensees are required to complete supervisor training under current DOPL rules, and the applicable deadline.
2. Describe the supervision documentation and record-keeping requirements the rule establishes.
3. Recognize common compliance errors in supervision agreements and hour verification, and identify appropriate corrective steps.

To receive credit: attend the full live CE hour and complete the evaluation link sent at the close of the session. Certificates are emailed within five business days.
